1. Membership Participation
Referrals For Breakfast (RFB) is a professional, in-person business networking group. Membership provides access to weekly meetings, referral opportunities, and related communications. Participation is voluntary and based on mutual respect, professionalism, and constructive engagement.
Membership does not guarantee referrals, business outcomes, or financial results.
2. Membership Fees & Billing
Membership fees are billed on a recurring monthly basis at the rate selected at the time of enrollment. Fees are charged automatically according to the subscription schedule unless cancelled in advance.
Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where required by law.
3. Cancellation
Members may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future charges but does not retroactively refund prior payments.
Access to meetings and member benefits continues through the end of the current paid billing period.
4. Credits, Discounts & Promotions
From time to time, Referrals For Breakfast may offer promotional credits, referral credits, or discounts.
• Credits are applied when a referred individual becomes a Member and completes their first paid billing cycle
• Credits may be applied toward future membership fees
• Credits are non-transferable
• Credits have no cash value
Credits are administered by Referrals For Breakfast and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
5. Member Conduct
Members are expected to:
- Act professionally and respectfully
- Represent their business honestly
- Avoid high-pressure sales tactics
- Support the referral community in good faith
Referrals For Breakfast reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund for conduct that is disruptive, unethical, or contrary to the group’s purpose.
6. Meetings & Scheduling
Meetings are typically held weekly, in person, at the scheduled venue.
Occasionally, meetings may be moved to a virtual (video) format due to weather conditions, venue availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable notice will be provided whenever possible.
Membership fees are structured on a monthly basis and are intended to support participation over the course of the year rather than a fixed number of meetings each month. Referrals For Breakfast generally pauses or reduces in-person meetings during recognized high-peak vacation periods, including portions of the summer months and the Christmas & New Year holiday season, when member availability is typically lower. At the same time, other months throughout the year naturally include five scheduled meetings, which helps balance periods of lighter scheduling.
This seasonal rhythm is intentionally built into the membership model (including its pricing structure) to respect our members’ work, family, and travel commitments while maintaining continuity of membership, relationships, and referral activity across the full calendar year.
7. Communications
By joining, members agree to receive communications related to meetings, membership, billing, and group activities. These communications are operational in nature and not third-party marketing.
Members may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
Referrals For Breakfast, its organizers, and affiliated entities are not responsible for:
- Business losses
- Missed opportunities
- Disputes between members
- Outcomes resulting from referrals, introductions, or networking activities
Members participate at their own discretion and responsibility.
9. Ownership & Administration
Referrals For Breakfast is operated under Your Local Handyman Inc.
Membership fees, billing, and administrative services may be processed through affiliated systems.
All payments are handled through a secure, encrypted billing portal designed to protect personal and financial information.
10. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
